At AUNE AMIGOS, we care about the environment and the continuous impact the clothing industry has on the planet and people. A selection of our clothing is made using organic cotton certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). GOTS ensures that both environmental and social standards are in place throughout the entire production from processing, manufacturing, packaging to distribution of textiles.
Our mission is to continue to use and expand our range of organic cotton in our garments.

We have partnered with One Tree Planted, a nonprofit organisation dedicated to global reforestation. They plant trees to restore nature and biodiversity. They also raise awareness about the importance of trees and motivate younger generations to do something positive for the environment.

Why Organic Cotton?
Organic cotton is grown without the use of pesticides and from seeds which have not been genetically modified.
Organic cotton farming uses 91% less water than regular cotton and it also produces fewer greenhouse gas emissions.
Using fewer pesticides means that the farmers' and their communities are living on chemical-free agricultural land, improving their health and the farm's lifespan as a commodity.
